A sculptural, hand built vintage teapot with a surrealist, anthropomorphic form. The vessel features a stylized face with a pronounced nose, two eyes, and an elongated mouth that serves as the spout. The organically shaped handle arcs upward before sweeping forward and landing at the top of the nose.
Crafted through traditional wood firing, the surface shows natural variations with a black and warm tonal shifts, and a textured, kiln-fired finish. A functional object that also reads as a whimsical artwork. No signature found. In good condition with wear consistent with age.
