Description:
This postmodernist sculptural ceramic ikebana vessel is finished in a glossy black glaze with areas of dark, subtle green. The vessel's architectural form lends itself to a dynamic ikebana arrangement, but powerful as a stand alone vessel. A total of three holes are integrated into the top or side of the piece, allowing for flower arrangement with multiple points of insertion. The vessel is signed on the bottom. Condition is very good, with wear consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or restoration are noted.
