This vintage Japanese ceramic vessel is Raku fired and features a Shino crackle glaze. Iron oxide brush detailing runs along the sides of the piece. Two slits are present on the sides near the top, most likely intended for hanging the vessel if desired. A chop mark is present on the bottom of the piece. Condition is good, with surface wear consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or restoration are noted.
