Raymonde Desabres (French, 1925-2020) Lidded Vessel, Ceramic Flower Statue, and Ceramic Unicorn Horn (ca. 1990). Trio of ceramic works by Raymonde Desabres. A lidded organic modern grey glazed ceramic vessel with legs. An organic modern expressionist ceramic statue in a teal and dark purple glaze. Lastly, a grey and pale turquoise glazed ceramic unicorn horn. All in good condition with wear conducive with age and material.

Raymonde "Ré" Désabres Plaut (1925-2020) was a long-respected Harrisburg artist and an active member of the Art Association of Harrisburg. Born in France, where she aided the French Resistance against the Nazis, Re eventually relocated to Pennsylvania, where her art won several awards and was displayed in many exhibitions, including the State Museum of Pennsylvania.
