Housed under glass in a period silver frame with archival matting. In good condition, with minor wear consistent with age.

Signed, dated, and inscribed lower right: ‘Iramain 1949 Florida USA’.

Born in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, Juan Carlos Iramain was a sculptor and painter known for his expressive figurative works. A student of renowned Argentine artists, he developed a style that blended classical technique with modernist vitality, capturing both the physical and emotional essence of his subjects. His legacy is preserved at the Museo Iramain in his hometown, a dedicated institution showcasing his sculptures, paintings, and personal archives.

Active in the mid-20th century, Iramain traveled extensively, including a formative stay in Florida, where he collaborated with Hungarian composer Ernst von Dohnányi.
