Foreword by Paul Winkler and Julia Brown Turrell. Essay by Katharina Schmidt. Designed by Marilyn Muller. Includes a checklist of the exhibition, a selected bibliography and a biographical statement. 130 pp. (including 3 two-page gatefolds and 1 three-page gatefold), with 40 four-color plates and 17 additional black-and-white reference illustrations, beautifully printed by Meridian Printing, Rhode Island. 10-1/2 x 11 inches. Published on the occasion of the 1989 exhibition Cy Twombly at The Menil Collection, Houston (also traveled to the Des Moines Art Center, Des Moines, Iowa, 1990). Out of print.


Dust jacket is in good condition. There’s a small rip in the top near the spine. Some wear along the edge of the DJ and spine. Crease on the wrap on the DJ interior. Small stain on the center of the back page. No notations on the pages.
