Ancient Luristan Bronze Dagger with Custom Display Stand

Description:
A cast verdigris bronze dagger. The blade is double edged with a tapered point and a raised midrib running its full length. The tang narrows into a waisted grip, finishing in a distinctive three point finial with curved horns. This finial would have been originally inserted into a hilt (wood, bone, or ivory).
Provenance: Accompanied by its original collection label en verso (#13). Mounted on a modern custom stand with a verdigris back support.
Condition: Stable. Wear and corrosion consistent with age.
