Antique Chip Carved Tramp Art Tabletop Dresser with Decoupage and Mirror
At the top of the piece, a miniature Latinate-style posable mirror is suspended within a chip-carved frame, flanked by two small drawers. Below, two medium sized drawers and one large drawer at the bottom are lined with Victorian decoupage elements that include a family, a rose, and figurative portraits. The decoupage is also seen on the outside in the form of shadows/outlines as they were stained with the entirety of the piece. Carved appliqués embellish the façade, though a few minor losses—including a missing appliqué at the upper right corner, another along the left side, and the absence of a carved strip on the top edge of the left-hand drawer.
Despite these modest condition issues, the dresser remains structurally sound. In good antique condition. Please refer to the photos for details.
