About Zun Vessels:
Zun vessels originated in ancient China as ceremonial bronzes used during the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Designed to hold wine for ritual offerings, zun forms were often elaborately decorated with taotie masks, animals, or mythical creatures symbolizing power, protection, and ancestral reverence. Over time, the silhouette inspired later ceramic creations, which carried on this tradition.
