Antique Italianate Landscape with Bridge and Figures, Framed. Two figures sit at the end of a bridge with a dog in the foreground. Another figure is seen in the middle of the bridge. A structure is tucked into the background. Most likely an English or Dutch Italianate scene from the 18th Century. The painting has been relined. It is attached to the original stretcher bars with wax along the edges. An archival plastic hardboard is attached to the back of the canvas to prevent damage to the canvas. Housed in a gilt painted wood frame. In fair condition with wear present to the canvas and frame. Please refer to the photos for details.
