Jurgen Peters was born in 1936 in Hamburg Germany. He was a very well known optical artist in the 1970s, he was a known contemporary of Victor Vasarely, Yaacov Agam and Briget Riley. His works were regularly advertised in the pages of "Art In America" from the 1970s.
