This pair of 18th century French cabinet doors features hand carved parquetry with a two-tone sunburst design on the exterior. Parquetry, a decorative geometric wood inlay technique, was widely used in French furniture from the 17th century onward. The interior is inlaid with a two-tone star design outlined in metal. The doors are in used condition, with cracks present throughout as visible in the accompanying photographs.
